I am 48 years old, and Priestess of the Goddess. I have 4 children, 3 Granddaughters, 3 Grandsons and am mated to a wonderful man. We live in rural Illinois on 8 acres that we share with a German Shepherd, a Chocolate Lab and 2 cats, as well as many "wild" fourlegged and feathered friends.

In 1974, I began seeking my Path to the Goddess, and later that year I was Dedicated. I studied the way of herbs and animals, and was named Priestess. Since I proudly embrace my Native American heritage, the Path that I walk also embraces Native American spirituality, which teaches much of animal and plant medicine.

It is my experience that each significant person or event in life, will teach us something of value to our Path if only we listen and look. I believe that we are here to help and support each other, and that we can only assist each other with those things that are within our own experience.

The rituals that I practice are self-styled. I believe strongly that ritual is of the most intense facet of the 'human experience', and should be treated as such. The tools, spells, recipes, "power objects"; even the Rituals themselves are as individual as the Seeker performing them. There is no right or wrong way, only the way that is right for you. Therefore, the Mysteries of the Universe will not be found in a book, or the wise words of one person. They are found everywhere and within each being; it is for us to choose to take notice.

It is my dream and hope to help create a community of Elders and Seekers where education and enlightenment are first and foremost whatever "Path" or "Tradition" we follow. All Paths are but spokes on the Wheel, all leading to the same Center. With that in mind we will become a unified community and a unified voice in this seemingly insane, sometimes close-minded plane of existence.
